Bureau Felix Rabe works in the interdisciplinary field of communication design. Primarily, we plan and develop transmedia projects with a focus on holistic cultural branding.
Felix holds a Master of Arts with distinction from Peter Behrens School of Arts, University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf. After working at renowned interdisciplinary design practices, such as büro uebele and Ippolito Fleitz Group, and for clients in Europe and Asia, Felix established his bureau at the intersection of practice and teaching.
The bureaus focus centers on the topic of action, a form of human doing as proposed by political theorist Hannah Arendt. It explores how conventional and critical artifacts, which emerge from such doing, utilize and enhance the potential of design as an integrated, solution-driven, and inclusive element of society.
In 22, Felix co-founded About Repetition, a registered non-profit association that explores serial minimalism.
