Proposing a Data-Driven
Design Process

Understanding complex topics and isolating core problems to solve them through precise communication is a nuanced task. Research shows that socially relevant challenges are particularly suited to benefit from such efforts – whether it’s optimizing way-finding for hospitals or crafting narratives for artists’ work. These examples demonstrate how design, as a vital part of society, has the power to inspire change and shape the future. How can we maximize this potential? By defining and implementing a data-driven design process that is reliable, replicable, and inclusive – transcending traditional notions of “talent” and “creativity.” Making these methodologies accessible to students and organizations ensures that the transformative power of design can be harnessed effectively by a wider audience.

Embracing Collaboration

Lectures & Workshops

As a freelance lecturer I help universities to plan and implement teaching by giving lectures and leading workshops. My inclusive approach is suitable for students in basic semesters as well as ones in the master program. Getting positive feedback directly from students and having a broad satisfaction in course evaluations, I constantly look for further opportunities to share my proposal with institutions.

Consulting & Commission

Entrepreneurs and ventures, no matter if from a economical or cultural sector, rely heavily on solid data for planing and performance. The widely accepted practice of „talent“ and „creativity“ undermines the potential of communicating a service or product effectively. Having worked in leading design studios, I look forward to share my proposal with entrepreneurs to make design a core part of their venture.
